Virginia Balloons flies the safest, most advanced Hot Air Balloon systems in the world. Our pilots have thousands of hours of experience in the air. Your Virginia Balloons Hot Air Balloon Adventure includes a flight in Williamsburg, Virginia Beach, or the Virginia Lake Country (during season) in one of our four- to six-passenger Hot Air Balloons. These adventures include champagne or cider following the balloon adventure!

Virginia Balloons, LLC, flies year-round in Williamsburg Virginia. We choose our daily balloon launch sites based on the wind direction, and depart from one of 25 locations in the Williamsburg area. Often in the summer months we fly across the James or the York River into and around Historic Williamsburg.

We meet our clients at the Williamsburg KOA campground in our private Hot Air Balloon Picnic & Parking area.

+Lake Country Balloons

We enjoy flying hot air balloons around the Smith Mountain Lake and Kerr Lake areas. We provide private Balloon Adventures in these areas.

Virginia Balloons operates and flies hot air balloon charters during several Virginia hot air balloon events including “Lake Fest” in Clarksville, Virginia, and the “The Mariners Landing Balloon Festival” at Smith Mountain Lake each year.

Virginia Balloons frequently flies in Lake Country and we meet our guests at the Lake Hotel, located in Clarksville, Virginia. When flying at Smith Mountain Lake we meet our passengers at Mariners Landing Resort.

Balloon Expeditions budgets $10,000 per balloon for a 5-7 day Hot Air Balloon Adventure most anywhere in the world. Balloon expeditions require 2 balloon systems with recovery and support equipment.

$499.00 per person – 2 to 5 passengers. Williamsburg – Virginia Beach. $100 per person surcharge for Private Adventures.

Private Balloon Adventures are very popular with celebrities or special occasions including birthdays, anniversaries and engagements. Each Private Balloon Adventure is carefully planned and may include special requests, food packages and a private basket for the passengers. Virginia Balloons’ Private “Balloon Brunch” is included at participating Williamsburg, VA restaurants on Sunday mornings.
